About AB Ski
AB Ski (Formerly Momentum Snowsports) is a small British Ski School, based in Courchevel and La Tania. We offer private and group ski and snowboard lessons by British Ski Instructors.
Our all British Ski team is fully qualified to instruct in France and all our English speaking ski lessons come with lift queue priority. We are passionate about snow sports and look forward to sharing that with you.

Coming on a ski holiday should be about fun, enjoyment, improving technique and exploring the mountains with friends on skis or snowboard. Ski lessons should enhance your experience not detract from it and at AB Ski that’s exactly what our approach to teaching skiing and snowboarding is.
It goes without saying, that having your ski lessons delivered by an instructor who is a native english speaker is going to improve the level of communication and understanding achieved during the lesson and this will also impact how much you can improve both during and after the lesson has finished.
During a lesson you should fully understand all the points made by your instructor, so that you can go away and practise the techniques that have been introduced during the ski lesson. Without this, the lesson is not as worthwhile as it could be. We aim to make all our lessons as good as they can be and our 5 star tripadvisor ratings attest to this.

We had the most incredible experience with Momentum Snowsports. From booking through to the instructors I can highly recommend these guys. We booked in for a private lesson with Keith which was amazing and our two young children went with Ben who they said " is much more fun than you dad !!" The kids then had another six days in ski school with Ben and they had the most wonderful time skiing green, blue and red slopes and even going off piste ! My 12 and 9 year olds had another wonderful week with Freddie. They covered everything on the piste, through all weathers! Freddie is super fun whilst challenging them and taking their skiing to the next level. Would thoroughly recommend Momentum to anyone coming to La Tania, at any level. We are already booking again for Easter!

I can't rate Ben highly enough! Our son who is 8 has autism and we had a terrible experience with a well know French school - one week of lessons with them he couldn't even stop and I had some terrible comments from the instructor. One private lesson with Ben and he was skiing down the mountain and stopping! After a couple of days in the group lessons he was coming down the mountain with us and even tried a red run or two - most importantly he had fun!! Momentum listened to my concerns prior to coming out to France and they nailed it. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Kids had a great week with Freddie who can not only ski one-legged but knows the morning stops with a piano to continue to entertain them. The class came on in leaps and bounds and had a great week. I would recommend them

Just back from an excellent half-term in La Tania. For the 4th year, we used Momentum and as usual found them to be excellent. My sons (14 and 11) were with Freddie who really stretched them, skiing every black run in the resort and plenty of off-piste. My daughter (9) was with Ben, who as usual is the most positive, friendly instructor you could ever hope for. Can't recommend highly enough... will book again next year!

Thanks to Ben for a brilliant week of ski school for our daughters over New Year.Ben made the lessons fun and instilled lots of confidence in the girls.In fact they had so much fun they'd have spent all their time with Ben and the gang rather than their parents!!
